A simple little ditty, LET'S GET ROCKED just about sums up our feelings abour life. Also, check out ONLY AFTER DARK, a Mick Ronson song we've always liked. Mick's been ill and this track is our acknowledgement of his importance... It sure feels good to be back. Play it LOUD! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3) Women (Clark, Collen, Elliott, Lange, Savage) - Live version Recorded at McNichols Arena in Denver, Colorado on February, 12, 1988. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4) Too Late For Love (Clark, Lange, Willis, Savage, Elliott) - Live version, Japanese bonus track Recorded at McNichols Arena in Denver, Colorado on February, 12, 1988. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Make Love Like A Man (1992) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Track Listing 1) Make Love Like A Man (Clark, Collen, Elliott, Lange) 2) Miss You In A Heartbeat (Collen) 3) Action (Andy Scott, Brian Connolly, Steve Priest, Mick Tucker) 4) Two Steps Behind (Elliott) - Original acoustic version ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Single #2 from ADRENALIZE - 'MAKE LOVE LIKE A MAN' is our tongue-in-cheek look at a significant facet of human existence. Take note! Meanwhile, we've got a couple more unreleased tracks for you: 'MISS YOU IN A HEARTBEAT' is a Collen song of somewhat recent vintage - first recorded by Paul Rodgers' group, The Law. 'TWO STEPS BEHIND' is an elliott composition performed totally acoustically; bass, 2 guitars and voice. Our first recorded acoustic performance! And finally, a version of a song by a group Joe really wished he could've been in - 'ACTION' by Sweet. For those too young to remember, go listen to sweet's greatest hits - a revelation - and for those who remember the original, let me say that in our efforts to duplicate every part recorded by Messrs, Connoll, Priest, Scott and Tucker we discovered some very interesting bits...don't worry, guys, we won't let on. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad (1992) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Track Listing 1) Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad (Collen, Elliott, Lange) 2) From The Inside (Elliott) 3) You Can't Always Get What You Want (Mick Jagger, Keith Richards) 4) Little Wing (Jimi Hendrix) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here's our 3rd single from ADRENALIZE - 'HAVE YOU EVER NEEDED SOMEONE SO BAD'. We've searched far and wide for the appropriate performances to go along with it and we came across these recordings by a group known only as "The Acoustic Hippies From Hell". In a raging 3 hour late night session, the Hippies (comprised of various Defs and 3 Hothouse Flowers) knocked off versions of a track Joe had lying around, 'FROM THE INSIDE' as well as the Stones' 'YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT' and Hendrix's 'LITTLE WING'. So lay back and let your mind do the rest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3) You Can't Always Get What You Want (Mick Jagger, Keith Richards) (from Rolling Stones "Let I Bleed" (1969)) Performed by The Acoustic Hippies From Hell (Def Leppard and The Hothouse Flowers). I saw her today at the reception A glass of wine in her hand I knew she was gonna meet her connection As at her feet was a footloose man You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want But if you try sometimes You just might find You'll get what you need I went down to the demonstration To get my fair share of abuse Singing "we're gonna vent our frustrations" "And if we don't we're gonna blow a 50-amp fuse" You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want But if you try sometimes Well, you just might find You'll get what you need I went down to the Chelsea drugstore To get your prescription filled I was standing in line with Mister Jimmy And man, did he look pretty ill We decided that we would have a soda My favorite flavor, was cherry red I sung my song to Mister Jimmy And he said one word to me, and that was "dead" You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want No no, you can't always get what you want Oh, you can't always get what you want But if you try sometimes You just might find You'll get what you need I saw her today at the reception In her glass was a bleeding man She was practiced at the art of deception Well I could tell by her bloodstained hands Oh, yes I could You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want You can't always get what you want But if you try sometimes Yeah, you just might find You'll get what you need Oh sugar, you'll get what you need, yeah yeah yeah You'll get what you need, yeah yeah yeah You'll get what you need, yeah yeah yeah ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4) Little Wing (Jimi Hendrix) (from "Axis: Bold As Love" (1967)) Performed by The Acoustic Hippies From Hell (Def Leppard and The Hothouse Flowers). Well she's walking through the clouds With a circus smile that's running round Butterflies and zebras and moonbeams and fairy tales That's all she ever thinks about She's riding with the wind When I'm sad she comes to me With a thousand smiles she gives to me free It's alright, she says, it's alright Take anything you want from me, anything Anything, yeah Well she's walking through the clouds With a circus smile that's running round Oh, butterflies and zebras and moonbeams and fairy tales That's all she ever thinks about She's riding with the wind, yeah Yeah yeah yeah yeah little wing ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion) (1993) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Track Listing 1) Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion) (Clark, Collen, Elliott, Lange) 2) She's Too Tough (Elliott) 3) Elected (Alice Cooper, Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, Glen Buxton) - Live version 4) Let's Get Rocked (Collen, Elliott, Lange, Savage) - Live version ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Our fourth single, Stand Up cleverly combines motorcycle speak with your typical Def Lepp love tune. Check out our two managers acting in the vid. You figure out which characters they're playing. Additional tracks for the single include an olde Elliott tune "She's Too Tough" as well as a version of "Elected" with Steve Clark on it from Tilburg, Holland (vintage mid '87). "Let's Get Rocked" comes from a club date we played in Bonn, Germany in May'92. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 3) Elected (Alice Cooper, Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, Glen Buxton) - Live version (from Alice Cooper "Billion Dollar Babies" (1973)) Recorded in Tilburg, The Netherlands during the Hysteria Tour, 1987. I'm your top prime cut of meat, I'm your choice I wanna be elected I'm a yankee doodle dandy in a gold Rolls Royce I wanna be elected The kids need a savior, they don't want a fake I wanna be elected We're all gonna rock to the rules that I make I wanna be elected Elected Elected Respected I wanna be selected I never lied to you, I've always been cool I wanna be elected I have to get the votes, I told you about school I wanna be elected Elected Elected Hallelujah I wanna be selected, come on Ooh yeah We're gonna rock this place, take the country by storm I wanna be elected You and me together, young and strong I wanna be elected Elected Elected Respected, selected, call collected I wanna be elected, oh, oh, come on This time ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4) Let's Get Rocked (Collen, Elliott, Lange, Savage) - Live version Recorded in Bonn, Germany during the Adrenalize Tour, 1992. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Heaven Is (1993) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Track Listing 1) Heaven Is (Clark, Collen, Elliott, Lange) 2) She's Too Tough (Elliott) 3) Elected (Alice Cooper, Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, Glen Buxton) - Live version 4) Let's Get Rocked (Collen, Elliott, Lange, Savage) - Live version ------------------------------------------------------------------------ In your hands, you have the 4th Def track from ADRENALIZE: 'HEAVEN IS' - another view about that age old problem of perfect women. Backing this track is another from the obsure Elliott collection of songs: 'SHE'S TOO TOUGH'. The title speaks for itself! We've thrown in 2 more live tracks: Our version of the Alice Cooper (we are not worthy) song 'ELECTED', recorded with Steve in Tilburg, Holland in 1987 and 'LET'S GET ROCKED' from our May '92 Euroclub tour - city of Bonn, Germany to be precise. The difference in the feel of the 2 tracks seems greater than the 5 year difference in recording, but, what the heck... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tonight (1993) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Track Listing 1) Tonight (Clark, Collen, Elliott, Lange, Savage) 2) Now I'm Here (Brian May) - Live version 3) Hysteria (Clark, Collen, Elliott, Lange, Savage) - Live version ------------------------------------------------------------------------ In your hands, you hold single #5 from DEF LEPPARD's "ADRENALIZE" album.
